<div itemprop="description">WHALEN, Agnes, Lorraine - passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Belleville General Hospital after a short and courageous battle with cancer in her 66th year. Beloved daughter of the late Agnes and Michael Whalen. Predeceased by brothers Burt, Keith and Terry. Loving sister of; Patricia Maloney (Francis) and Vern Whalen (Christine). Loving Sister-in-Law of Helen Whalen. Cherished Aunt of; Deb Richmond (Rob), Mick Whalen (Donna), Terry Whalen (Becky), Anne Marie Maloney, Don Maloney (Kelly), Tom Maloney, Kevin Maloney (Jennifer), Mark Whalen (Terri) and Michelle Whalen. Dearest Great Aunt of: Jordan, Josh, Amber and Jaxan Whalen: Brendan, Michael, Patrick, Hayley, Clare, Nolan and Shaye Maloney and Evan and Troy Solmes. She will be dearly remembered by all her golfing girlfriends at Oak Hills Golf Club as well as her bowling and euchre friends. Lorraine retired from Nortel in 1999 and was extremely active in her retirement. <br /><br />Friends are invited to visit at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613-968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville on Thursday, November 26th, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Friday, November 27th, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, November 27th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the parish hall. Family interment will take place at a later date.
