<div itemprop="description">Nelles, Barbara Elizabeth (nee Wright) <br /> <br />Passed away peacefully on Thursday December 3rd, 2015 at her home at the Bridge Street Retirement Residence, surrounded by her family. Barbara was the daughter of the late Frederick George Wright and Dorothy Marguerite Wright. She was pre-deceased by her husband Dr. Jim Nelles and her son Dr. David Nelles. She was dearly loved by her family, daughter Susan and son-in-law Jim, grandsons Curtis and Colin and granddaughter Lindsay. She was a member and active participant in CFUW Belleville (Canadian Federation of University Women) for almost 60 years. She also volunteered for many years with the BGH hospital auxiliary. Her membership in Bridge Street United Church was an integral part of her life, both through worship and as a member of the UCW. She was an avid reader, crossword puzzle whiz and a darn good bridge player. The family want to express their heartfelt thanks to all the staff at The Bridge Street Retirement Home. <br /> <br />Arrangements entrusted to the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville (613-968-6968). Visitation on Sunday, December 6th, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 7th, 2015 at the Bridge Street United Church at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CFUW Scholarship Fund or Bridge Street United Church would be greatly appreciated.
