Carl leaves behind a rich legacy of friends and family. His passionate involvement as a director, playwright and volunteer in numerous community theatres in the Quinte region touched many. Beloved husband of Sam McGowan. Loving father of Glenn Hartman Cashin. Dear brother of John Cashin (Helen) and Fred Cashin (Karen) and Gloria Bondy (Leo). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. <br>A memorial service will be held at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL (613 968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville on Sunday, August 07, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow upstairs in the Burke Terrace Room. Also A Celebration of Life will be held at the Island Park RV Resort at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
