<div itemprop="description">KARDASSIS, Christina (nee Zorbalas)<br />Passed away in her 72 year on Saturday January 9th 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Mike Kardassis, her adoring children, Chris (Kiley), Steve, Filli (Tina), as well as her two precious grandchildren, Michael and Max. She joins in heaven her parents, Panayiota and Stavros Zorbalas, Mike's parents, Christos and Filio Kardassis, along with two of her brothers, Vasilis (Niki) and George (Maria) and sister-in-law Dimitria (Mimi) Koulouris. She will be mourned by her family in Canada, Greece and the United States, including her sister Dina (George) Vasilopoulos, brother John (Stella) Zorbalas, sister Fotini (Ted) Goulis, brothers-in-law Louie (Fritzi) Kardassis, Angelo (Katina) Kardassis, sister-in-law Eleni (Antonis) Mavromihais, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and Koumbari. Her smile will be missed by many staff and customers who had the joy to know her thru Mike's Restaurant, as well as her many friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613 968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 - 8:00p.m. A funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Harder Dr., Belleville on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Belleville Cemetery.
