<div itemprop="description">O'FLYNN, John D. - The Honourable John D. O'Flynn, Q.C. - Peacefully at Moira Place Long Term Care Home with his family on Wednesday, July 1st, 2015 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Mary (nee - Freyseng). Loving father of Dale O'Flynn (Terry Bridges), Katherine O'Flynn (Eben James) and Pamela O'Flynn (Stuart Thomas). Dear brother of Carol Inglis and cousin of Mary Bould. Loved by 6 grandchildren; Colin, Christopher, Abbey, Ally, Megan and Ioan. John graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1956 and practiced law in Belleville until his appointment to the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in 1976. John also sat as a Deputy Judge for 13 years in the Northwest Territories and Nunavut Court of Justice. When John retired in 2005, he served as a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Small Claims court until 2009. The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Mustard and the Health Care Team, the staff and the volunteers at Moira Place for their compassionate care. <br /> <br />Friends are invited to visit at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613-968-6968) 150 Church Street, Belleville on Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at BRIDGE STREET UNITED CHURCH on Thursday, July 9th, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the church hall.
