Jon Pieter Zorge
entered into rest at the Belmont Long Term Care Facility on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in his 93rd year. Son of the late Jilling and Hillegonda Zorge. Beloved husband of the late Mary Zorge (nee Heyndyk) and the late Barbara Anne Westphal-Zorge. Loving father of Marilyn Apperley (Bill) of Belleville, Ingrid Zorge (Russell Smith) of Belleville and Jessica Keyes (late Leslie) of Collingwood. Loved as Opa by his 6 grandchildren Marina, JonNeil (Lyndsie), Jennifer (Brent), Nikki (Steven), Shane (Melissa), Tyler (Lesley) and also by his great grandchildren KaliAnne and Camden. Jon will be dearly missed by his brothers and sisters in Canada, Netherlands and United States.
The Memorial Service scheduled at Eastmister United Church, 432 Bridge St. East on Saturday, December 05, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. has been CANCELLED.
Memorial donations to the KGH Belleville Dialysis Clinic or to the Belmont LTC Facility would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the care of the BURKE FUNERAL HOME (613 968-6968) 150 Church St., Belleville. A special thank you to the staff of the Belmont LTC Facility.
