<div itemprop="description">Kim Geraldine Yuille, RN. <br /> <br />September 5, 1959 - September 14, 2014 <br /> <br />Kim passed away peacefully on Sunday September 14, 2014 at Hill House Hospice in Richmond Hill. Survived by: Father: Ivan Yuille, Mother: Sheila Grant (Finn) husband Wayne Grant, siblings Pat (Tracy), Shawn (Linda), Michael (Shelley) Jeff (Stephanie) and Laurie Vogt (Paul). Nieces: Sarah (deceased), Lindsay, Jennifer, Heather, Kate, Breanna and Michaela. Nephews Ryan, Michael, Grant and Zach. Great Aunt to Hannah, Charlotte, Maya and Hailee. <br /> <br /> Kim&rsquo;s family and friends loved her for all that she was&hellip; determined, generous, compassionate, caring, big-hearted, kind, and stubborn. The first daughter to Ivan Yuille and Sheila Yuille (Finn), Kim grew up in Gananoque, Ontario where she attended St. John&rsquo;s &amp; St. Joseph&rsquo;s separate schools and Gananoque Secondary School. Kim pursued an education in nursing first at St. Lawrence College (RNA Certificate, RN Diploma) and eventually attended McMaster University to complete a BScN degree. The 1960&rsquo;s and 70&rsquo;s were filled with family, dance lessons, Donny Osmond, Bobby Sherman, Shawn Cassidy, cottage vacations, Canoe Club dances, singing lessons, snowy Canadian small town winters and brilliant sun filled summers next to the St. Lawrence river. Kim started her career in nursing as an RNA at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, Ontario. She joined the Sickkids&rsquo; Haematology/Oncology department in 1985 and for 27 years assisted countless children and their families fight cancer. In 2012, when Kim took ill, she was a long-term member of the Bone Marrow Transplant team at Sickkids.
