<div itemprop="description">BALDWIN, RONALD GILBERT <br /> <br />Passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 4th, 2015 at home in his 70th year. Beloved son of the late Edward and Effie Baldwin. Dear husband of Nancy Baldwin. Loving father of Elena Little (Ron), Ron Baldwin &amp; Tanya Baldwin (David Powell). Cherished brother of Isabel (late George), Stella (late Leo) &amp; Elizabeth (late Raymond), Ed (late Terry), Evelyn (Gerald), Verna, Doris (John), Alice (Bob), Brenda (Ron), Rosalind (Gus), Jeannie (late Jim) &amp; Jo Ann (Paul). Missed by grandchildren Emily (Dylan), Zachary, Anna, Emma, Lauren, Morgan, Gillian, Curtis &amp; Chantelle. Fondly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. <br /> <br />Ron was a dedicated father and grandfather. He left his dearly beloved Newfoundland at the age of 17 to serve in the Canadian Armed Forces (Armored Corp) for 30 years. His career included many things that shaped his life. He was on several peacekeeping missions. Served in Egypt, Cypress and Germany. Ron served in the FLQ Crisis &amp; Golan Heights. In retirement he found a new passion carving in the Kingston market. He was a creative artist, adventurer and dreamer. <br /> <br />Arrangements entrusted to the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St., Belleville (613-968-6968). Visitation 1 hr prior to the service on Thursday, October 8th, 2015. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel at 12 noon. Reception to follow. Donations to the Pathways to Independence - Belleville would be appreciated.</div>
