<div itemprop="description">JEFFREY, Roy Kenneth (&quot;Jeff&quot;)<br /><br />Peacefully with Roy's family by his side at Hastings Manor on Wednesday, August 20th, 2014 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Robin Jeffrey (nee Futcher) of Belleville. Loving father of Alison Jeffrey (David Brennan) of Oakville. Proud grandfather of Meghan, Katelin and Devan. Dear brother of Donald Jeffrey (Donna) of Oakville. For 56 years, he and Robin loved, laughed, travelled and gardened together. His daughter Alison (aka &quot;Deacon&quot;) was his pride and joy and he would beam from ear to ear whenever he spoke of her. His pride and joy only grew stronger with her marriage to David and the arrival of three beautiful grandchildren to cuddle, adore and spoil. With a twinkle in his eye and a ready smile on his lips, Jeff embraced life with vim and vigour! His genuine love of people shone through in every conversation with family, friends and neighbours. It was these same characteristics that allowed him to excel in his pharmaceutical sales career and establish lifelong relationships within the medical community. As a proud resident of Dufferin Avenue, Jeff spent many happy hours working on lawn and gardens to create their beautiful cottage in the woods. The family would like to express a deep appreciation to all of the caring workers in the Beach Villa section at Hastings Manor who so lovingly and generously cared for him. A Memorial Service will be held at the BURKE FUNERAL HOME, 150 Church St. Belleville on Monday, August 25th, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. with visitation commencing from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
